Mark Roche
Mark Roche was allegedly abused once in 1976 (when he was approximately 25 years old) and was still a devotee in 1994 (15 years after his alleged single incident of abuse). Robert Priddy claimed he spent several weeks with Mark Roche in 1994. Although Priddy claimed that Mark Roche told Hislop about his alleged sexual encounter with Sathya Sai Baba (Roche divulged this after Hislop died, effectively quashing all possibility of verifying it), Mark Roche never mentioned it to Robert Priddy even though he defected from Sai Baba that same year. Mark Roche's testimony came from ‘out of the blue’ and he has never filed a basic police complaint, court case or any sort of written testimony about his alleged experiences:
