Lisa continually betrays her ignorance of the Kundalini practice
known as 'urdhvaretas', which involves the transport of semen from
the testicles upwards via the spine into the cerebral area.
Supposed benefits of this practice include youthful vigour, lotus-
like body odour, increased sense of spirituality, and possibly
enlightenment.
While betraying said ignorance Lisa also laughingly mocks at it,
despite the fact that Sai Baba is reported to have collected semen
from several male molestee disciples in a handkerchief.
"I'm sure a pervert like you understands the semen drivel too."

"After all, Dadlani is the dork who tried to tell people semen
travels up the spine to the brain. That about sums up the degree of
intelligence in this group of weirdos." [#41806]
Here are a list of references from several websites dealing with the
subject of tantra/kundalini/urdhvaretas:
"The earliest rishis or Vedic seers were considered as eternal
beings manifest at the start of each creation. These vatarashana
rishisare characterized in the Taittiriya Aranyaka as urdhvamanthins
or urdhvaretas meaning one whose semen is "drawn up" - chaste.32The
Upanishads declare celibacy (brahmacharya) as a direct means to self-
realization (Chandogya Upanishad), immortality (Mundaka Upanishad),
and knowledge of Brahma (Prashna Upanishad)." -

"A drop of semen is made out of 40 drops of blood. The energy that
is spent in one act of copulation is tantamount to expenditure of
mental energy through mental exertion for 24 hours or expenditure of
physical energy through physical exertion for three days. Mark how
valuable and precious is semen! Do not waste this energy. Preserve
it with great care. You will have wonderful vitality and energy.
When it is not used, it is all transmuted into Ojas-Sakti (spiritual
energy) and stored up in the brain. Western doctors know little of
this salient point. Most of your ailments are due to excessive
seminal wastage.
"A true Brahmacharin in thought, word and deed has wonderful thought-
power. He can move the world. If you develop strict celibacy,
Vichara-Sakti (power of enquiry) and Dharana-Sakti (power of
grasping and holding the Truth) will develop. If a man persistently
refuses to yield to his lower nature and remains as a strict
celibate, the seminal energy is deflected upwards to the brain and
is stored up as Ojas-Sakti (spiritual power). Thereby, the power of
the intellect is intensified to a remarkable degree. The strict
celibate has keen and acute memory even in old age. The celibate who
has achieved the transmutation of the seminal energy will find that
sexual desires no longer trouble him. Such celibate is known as
Urdhvaretas. Hanuman, Bhishma, Lakshmana, Swami Dayananda and Swami
Vivekananda were Urdhvareto-Yogins." -

"This is the reality of urdhvaretas, a state in which sexual energy
flows back up the spine instead of down and out through the
genitals. Then they, too, laugh like Kali laughs, with the bliss of
the freedom she has bestowed upon them, and the joy of the heroism
of conquering their own natures." - http://www.drsvoboda.com/kali.htm

the most proficient Aghori Tantriks ever)
"In this connection, I of course know that semen serves as the
(only?) currency during Sadhana. I have read two accounts on the
semen's role in Sadhana. One is that there is a stage when the
Sadhaka becomes an Urdhvareta, in whom the semen travels upwards and
nourish all the K-centers including Sahasrara. Gopikrishna too
vouched for this when he said it happened to him physically.
Muktananda also said the same about it - semen physically flowing
upwards; in case of women, it is the equivalent of semen called
Rajovirya which flows up. Sri Ramakrishna told that if a man is
celibate for 12 years, a new nerve gets created in the body, which
greatly helps in his spiritual pursuit.
"He also said that because of the nocturnal dreams, one gets rid of
the 'bad part' of the semen and the 'good part' travels up. He also
said that one who is on the path, if loses his semen falls from his
high state. There is another account, which says that the semen is
converted into Rajas, which is not physical but subtle, which feeds
the K-Centers. Of course both accounts might be true simultaneously -
one acts on the physical body and each of the subtle bodies would
be supported by its corresponding Rajas. Did anybody on this list
personally undergo Urdhvareta or any related experiences? If so,
could you please share them with others on the list? -

"I agree with Harsh's observation(if I could find the post) that
urdhvaretas is a well known concept in Indian spirituality as a
whole and in kundalini yogas in particular. Maharishi Mahesh Yogi
talks about urdhvaretas in his commentary on the Bhagavad Gita.
Nietzsche writes on it as well. As each individuals awakening is
different then it is not uncommon for an individual to put
particular emphasis on whatever was most striking in their
awakening. For some this will be a particular practice, for others
celibacy for some even diet.
"Apparently urdhvaretas was the (or a) most critical element of Gopi
Krishna's awakening. Generally, I believe that *retas* is just one
element in the chemistry of kundalini. There are others -for some it
might be breath (or prana), for Gloria it is perhaps a linking to
the ``holy spirit'', for others a drowning in love." -

"During this time, I discovered another intriguing concept,
urdhvaretas. This was a practice of celibacy, in which the subtle,
potentially sexual life essence is transformed into higher energies
of creativity or spirituality. I wondered if this was related to my
daily energy surges." - http://www.spiritual-happiness.com/ntr17.html
Is that enough for LIAR Lisa or are more references necessary to
prove the point?
