I played this movie clip in slow motion and in full screen mode and Sathya Sai Baba does not grab something from his other hand. Baba does bring his hands together in a peculiar way, but instead of reaching into the other hand, he rested his right hand on top of the left hand. Definitely room for doubt.

I agree with the comments from the ExBaba website that this video clip is "not very okay". There is static all over the screen and even in full screen mode and in slow motion I cannot see the alleged fraud. The ExBaba description stated: "the left hand is taking over something from the right hand, in which he holds a letter too". However, all I saw was Baba taking and passing a letter from his right hand to his left hand. To use this very poor quality video clip as "evidence" against Sathya Sai Baba is desperate at best.

I agree, this movie clip looks suspicious. Saying that Baba's reaching under the handful of letters is "totally unnecessary" is not accurate. People give Baba letters in all sizes (from very small single pieces of paper - as I have done myself - to letters in envelopes of all sizes). Baba can often be seen adjusting the letters in his hands even when he is not materializing vibuthi and has, on occasion, dropped letters that slipped from the bundle he carried.

Anti-Sai Activists claim that the alleged trickery can clearly be seen in this video. However, no one seems to agree on what actually transpired. In the Guru Busters film, Sathya Sai Baba was accused of retrieving a necklace from under the award. However, Anti-Sai Activists claim that the necklace was handed to Sai Baba by his assistant. The assistant (who supposedly handed the necklace to Baba) is totally oblivious to the task at hand. If you stare at the assistant's face, he is not looking at Baba or his hands except for a split-second when Baba's hands go near his.

Erlendur Haraldsson stated that he and his associates carried out a careful analysis of the video shown in Guru-Busters film. Haraldsson stated the following about the video:

Dr. Erlendur Haraldsson: “The quality and resolution of the tape leaves much to be desired and limits the inferences that can be drawn from it. Dr. Wiseman took the videotape to a company which specialises in investigating corporate fraud. This company possesses some of the world’s best equipment designed to enhance poor quality videotape. The technician kindly offered to enhance the videotape in question. The videotape was run through a real time Snell & Wilcox Kudos Noise Reducer. The machine carries out three operations. First, it removes via recursive filters the random noise on the tape caused by repeated copying. Second, it improves the graininess of the video by median filters and finally enhances any edges on the video through edge enhancement filters. After all this the video is certainly easier to watch, and did not contain much of the random noise present on the copy provided by the Deccan Chronicle. However, the resulting tape still did not reveal further information about the incident. In short, the reason for Sai Baba’s hand movements still appears unclear and is open for various interpretations, but the tape contained no firm evidence of fraud. The company also analysed several still frames taken from the video. These were scanned into a computer and run through an Improve image processing system (developed by the Home Office in Britain). Again, the images were enhanced via median filters and certain areas of the frames were enlarged. The resulting photographs show the crucial moment as Sai Baba’s hands touch under the memento, but do not reveal any further information.” (Modern Miracles; Chapter 31: Public Reaction; pp 295 - 301)

Therefore, despite the rants and ravings from Anti-Sai Activists, they simply cannot argue with the results of the analysis. The allegation of trickery, in this video, is completely unfounded.

ExBaba's description is not accurate. Baba does not always, in "all his vibuthi materializations" bring his two hands together. I have witnessed Baba materialize vibuthi perhaps hundreds of times and he materializes it in many different ways. Sometimes he does not even make circular movements with his hand or crushing movements with his fingers. I have seen Baba touch people on their foreheads and large vibuthi marks appear. I have seen Baba places his hand on people's heads and vibuthi lines appears. Sometimes Baba will wave his hand in circular motions and the entire surface of his palm will be coated in vibuthi, which he rubs on afflictions or limbs.

I have seen this video clip but it cannot explain how the amrita can stick to 20 people's hands without being redipped back into the amrita jar. I can comment on this firsthand because I have been to Sriragnapatnam in the early 90's with a group from Brazil. There were about 20 of us in two vans. The 2 amulets that oozed amrita were passed around to every single person without being redipped back into the amrita cups. My palm was cupped and I got about a teaspoon of amrita in my hand, as did everyone else. There was one lady from whose hand the amrita kept flowing even after the amulet was removed. Everyone was startled (but none as much as her) and everyone saw the amrita overflowing from her hand and dripping everywhere.

Furthermore, one of my friends who had been to Sri Ragnapatnam in the 70's gave me a sample and it tasted exactly as the amrita I got in the 90's. Yes, it lasted that long.

It is also fair to point out that the amrita that manifests on the pictures of Sathya Sai Baba all around the world, tastes and smells exactly like the amrita at Sri Ragnapatnam.

Any one care to divulge the recipe of amrita? I have never tasted anything so exquisite in my life. Anyone who could come up with the recipe (which should not be too difficult to do considering it is alleged that some poor, conniving person in India is making it), could make a lot of money making amrita. It's taste is beyond description. Every single person who has tasted it has had the same response, i.e., a taste and fragrance beyond compare. I know I would buy it in the gallons if I could.

Although Anti-Sai Activists have given bogus "recipes" for amrita, I have yet to hear of anyone who has had any success duplicating the taste, consistency, color and longevity of the amrita that flows from Sathya Sai Baba's pictures and amulets. There are some who claimed to have found soap that smells like amrita, but no one has been able to replicate the actual edible fluid.

The ExBaba website is clearly misleading people as to what this video clip actually shows. I watched this video thinking that Baba was materializing something and it indeed appeared like Baba 100%, fake "created" something. However, upon watching the video clip some more, I realized Baba did not materialize anything.

The video clip began with Baba making a hand gesture (with his right hand) for someone to "turn" something (more than likely, the ceiling fan control). Baba reached behind him (with his right hand) and pulled a pillow out that he sat on. While doing this, Baba still made hand gestures (with his left hand) for someone to turn something. Then Baba briefly stood up and made another hand gesture (with his right hand) of "turning" something and this is where someone mistook Baba as materializing something. Clearly, Sathya Sai Baba did not materialize anything. If you look at the all the people's faces surrounding Baba, they are looking in the very same direction as Baba. The people show no facial expressions and do not suggest (in any way) that Baba materialized anything. No interest. Nothing. Two women (seated on the right hand of the screen) are clearly looking to where Baba is talking and it is far away from him. They do not look at someone close to Baba at all.

This video clip is a perfect example of how someone can influence what you see by stating untruths and having you see that untruth. However, if you view this clip without knowing anything about it, what you will see it entirely differently than what is claimed.

First Clip I reviewed this clip several times, and although I do see the part about the fingers being bent then stretching out flat, I do not see Baba's mouth opening or closing at all. Also, when Baba is bringing the handkerchief up to his mouth, his fingers are holding the handkerchief differently and it is fairly open. I actually gave a handkerchief to 3 friends (not telling them what I had in mind) and I asked them to wipe their mouth with it (pretending as if they were wiping ketchup from their mouth). Believe it or not, all 3 held the handkerchief with the fingers on one of their hands bent (very much like Baba showed in this clip) and when they wiped their mouth, they did the same thing Baba did, stretched their fingers flat as they wiped their mouth. Without telling a friend what you are thinking, have them do the same and then judge this clip as you will.

Second Clip I agree, this clip looks suspicious. However, in all honesty, this clip only shows a very short segment of the emergence of the lingam. It does not show even 5 seconds earlier to see how the towel was handled or anything. This clip would be more credible if it showed the preceding events and not just one isolated and highly specific segment. This clip was edited in a deceptive way.
