Alexandra Nagel

ALEXANDRA NAGEL aka A.H.M. NAGEL

Alexandra Nagel is a self-professed Anti-Sai Activist and critic of Sathya Sai Baba, who claimed (on SaiPetition.net) to be "active in exposé investigations" since 1990.

Through the years, Nagel has written various papers against Sathya Sai Baba (mostly taken from her college homework assignments). Anti-Sai Activists have raised a huge fuss that AHM Nagel even managed to get her college homework published in an Anti-Sect journal: De Sai Paradox: Tegenstrijdigheden van en rondom Sathya Sai Baba (The Sai Paradox: Contradictions surrounding Sathya Sai Baba); Religieuze bewegingen in Nederland (Religious movements in the Netherlands) nr 29 Sekten, published in 1994 by Free University Amsterdam, ISBN 9053833412.

Intriguing enough, the Free University Amsterdam requires all of their employees to be Orthodox Protestant (although students can be of any religious persuasion). The VU website states, "Since the 1960s, however, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam has been open to everyone and funded in the same way as the other Dutch universities, although it still retains its tradition of Christian standards and values. This finds expression in the emphasis placed upon social involvement in the university’s teaching and research programmes" (Reference) and "Vrije Universiteit's origins are rooted in the Christian faith. This is why we attach such great importance to our social role. We take the view that academic work cannot be divorced from the concerns of society, in terms of standards, values, philosophy and religion" (Reference). It is also a fact that Christian Organizations (i.e., the Lutheran World Federation and the World Council of Churches) sponsered articles with Anti-Sect tones through the Free University Amsterdam (Reference). So it is of little wonder that a Protestant University, which publishes an Anti-Sect journal, would target Sathya Sai Baba and accept Nagel's paper when she had no credentials or degrees in 1994.

Nagel also wrote various other articles, opposing SSB, for her college homework assignments. Amusingly enough, Nagel wrote one long article (Sai Baba: van avatar naar homo-pedofiel) and then further divided this article into 3 separate articles (1- "A Guru Accused", 2 - "Shiva Shakti: A Created Myth? Or?" and 3 - "For And Against Sathya Sai Baba On The Internet").

Nagel also wrote an article entitled "Wolf Messing, an enigmatic 'psychic entertainer' whom Sathya Sai Baba claims to have encountered". Strangely enough, Nagel believes that Wolf Messing's alleged psychic abilities were "probably genuine". Alexandra H.M. Nagel also expressed a belief in Jane Roberts (a psychic medium) and Seth (a channeled spirit) in her diary notes.

Alexandra Nagel emailed me and clarified that the contradictory information regarding her signature, on SaiPetition.net, was some sort of mistake. I accept this as a statement of fact and am withdrawing my comments, regarding her signature on SaiPetition.net (in which she submitted a signature that claimed she followed SSB, "briefly in 2000"). Alexandra Nagel told me that the date should have read, "briefly in 1990", and she has no idea why it said "briefly in 2000". Alexandra Nagel also clarified that a Dutch article (written by Piet Van der Eijk) incorrectly stated that Alexandra Nagel spent 3 months at SSB's ashram in 1989. The correct year should have been 1990.

Nagel also tried to clarify a comment, made in her diary in May of 1990, about Sathya Sai Baba "participating in murders". I rightly pointed out that the murders that SSB was alleged of "participating in", did not occur in 1990. The incidents in question happened in 1993. Consequently, I asked Nagel to clarify which murders she was talking about. Nagel responded by saying she only used the word, "murders" (leaving out the reference to "participating in"). I replied citing her original post: " I forgive him his sexual excesses, the participation in murders?". Nagel replied, "You're right, in what is on the website, it's that sentence, but which in reality does not say anything more than showing that I had heard stories in which SB was accused of having been involved in murders". However, since this did not answer my question, I again queried Nagel about which murder stories she heard about SSB "participating in". Nagel replied by saying, "It concerned murders before 1990 and I can't tell you anymore what they involved, since it's so long ago and I don't have reference to them in my own written material. Sorry for that. Fact remains that I did hear such stories."

The only problem with this response, of course, is that Alexandra Nagel claimed she recalled the stories of SSB "participating in murders", but does not recall what the stories were! The fact that she cannot remember the murder stories, when the stories share an uncanny resemblance to the claims made about the 1993 murders (due to the specific reference of SSB "participating in" them), casts a dark shadow of suspicion that Nagel's diary notes were actually written many years after she claimed they were.

I don't know about you, but if someone told me that my guru, whom I was devoted to (which Alexandra Nagel claimed she was), "participated in murders", I would have remembered details! Alexandra Nagel remembers nothing, except hearing the stories. Apparently, she did not even care to write the stories down, despite writing things as mundane as Keith Ord's coming and going. Keith Ord also cannot recall what the alleged murders were either.

Nagel also attempted to clarify why she didn't mention, even one word in her diary notes, about SSB manifesting a vagina to Keith Ord. In Nagel's diary notes, she referred to Keith Ord as, "K.". Alexandra Nagel related how SSB allegedly materialized oil and rubbed it on Keith Ord's testicles and embraced him. However, Nagel made no mention to the absolutely incredible story that SSB morphed his penis into a vagina! Who can forget something like that? Alexandra Nagel clarified that Keith Ord told the penis turned vagina story to Van der Eijk. However, on Nagel's "Shiva Shakti" article, she specifically claimed that Ord related the "penis turned vagina" story to her. Why wouldn't she record a story like that in her diary notes? Another interesting observation is that Keith Ord made no mention to the penis turned vagina story in the article he submitted to David Bailey at: http://home.hetnet.nl/~ex-baba/engels/witnesses/keith.html Despite this fact, Keith Ord described this story, in graphic detail, with Van Der Eijk in 1992. Furthermore, Keith Ord, in his letter to David Bailey, made no mention to Alexandra Nagel (despite them rooming up together in Bangalore and sharing all these experiences together). This information would have been highly corroborative. Unfortunately, Keith Ord made no mention to Nagel, despite naming several other people he talked to. Nagel's diary notes are very peculiar. I want to cite several examples. Alexandra Nagel thought someone had stolen her wallet and somehow associated it with Sathya Sai Baba stealing her intuition. She got angry, saying, "!!!!¡¡¡Goddarndarndarndarndarnit!!! What does this son of an orange dress think he can be up to with me!!! ¡¡¡¡ That ASSHOLE !!!!!". Turns out, her wallet was not stolen and when she found it she realized, "I didn't look good enough if I believed Baba had stolen something from me". (???) Who associates their wallet with their intuition? Nagel also claimed to have slept (a couple of times) on a mat, cramped up behind, and beside, a staircase in Malaysia. Why was Nagel sleeping on a mat, cramped up behind a staircase, in Malaysia? She also said she traded her tax-free liquor with an Indian man. What was she doing with tax-free liquor in India? Also, Alexandra said that the Indian people in the ashram were bugging her about her clothing and "other crap". The ashram people only "bug" people about their clothing when it is entirely improper. What was she wearing? Nagel also made reference to loving SSB despite him fulfilling an anti-Christ role!! (???) Also alluding that SSB's sexual acts are not bad because we all puppets on strings that God alone pulls. Alexandra Nagel also confessed, "Incredible how my thoughts jump up and down, go back and forth" and "The Game continually continues and I regularly cry my eyes out. Partly because I'm fighting emotions. The not knowing but on the other hand I do know, and being sick and tired of my own mind constantly and for ever reasoning reasoning and reasoning". Couple all of this with her self-professed "low self-esteem complex" and things begin to look very different. Nagel's crediblity is compromised.
