SATHYA SAI BABA NEWS (With Updates And Comments):

TRUTHS MIXED WITH UNTRUTHS  BBCs 'The Secret Swami'
http://home.hetnet.nl/~ex_baba/engels/articles/barryreflection.html
Comment: This is a commentary about the Secret Swami BBC Documentary by Barry Pittard. Despite the inferior editing of the documentary (with even an admission of such by the Rahm Family), the BBC crew did not ask Basava Premanand for evidence to support his claim that Sathya Sai Baba was a "witness to the murders" that occurred in 1993. Also, according to Robert Priddy, the segment shown about the water project was inaccurate. The Secret Swami did not divulge the real reason behind the UNESCO withdrawal, nor did they mention the real reason why the U.S. State Dept issued a warning about "unconfirmed reports" of sexual impropriety against a "prominent local religious leader" in Andhra Pradesh. The real reasons being that Glen Meloy, Barry Pittard and a small group of Anti-Sai Activists "e-bombed" UNESCO, the Flinders University and the Consulate with Anti-Sai propaganda and boasted about accomplishing the Unesco withdrawal and the travel warning. Barry Pittard also said that the Secret Swami "needed an intellectually more penetrating analysis, and to raise sharper, more focused questions". I would agree, but not along the same lines that Barry Pittard seemed to suggest. Hard questions need to be directed to both sides, with equal intensity and equal undercover, private filming, as was done with Goldstein.

TRUTHS MIXED WITH UNTRUTHS  Deity dancing
http://home.hetnet.nl/~ex_baba/engels/articles/deitydancing.html
Comment: This is a commentary by Kathryn Flett in The Observer. I found it amusing that the ExBaba website choose only to cite highly selective segments to the article. The article ended by saying, "Admittedly I've not stayed up late enough to catch any tampon advertisements but if they don't feature a bunch of blondes playing five-a-side in tight white shorts on a Portuguese beach I'll eat one of David Beckham's Gillette Mach 3 Turbos (Turbo? Yes, it's a razor with an engine ) while singing the Croatian national anthem." Kathryn Flett was obviously caught up in some rambling diatribe and the ExBaba website cited it because it said something negative about Sathya Sai Baba.

TRUTHS MIXED WITH UNTRUTHS  Man of God or Magician?
http://home.hetnet.nl/~ex_baba/engels/articles/commentonmanofgod.html
Comment: These comments are about the poorly edited and researched Secret Swami Documentary. Robert Priddy tossed in his two cents, babbling about Bagani's "biased view". Robert Priddy has perhaps the most biased views of all the Anti-Sai Activists (equal only to his perverted friend, Sanjay Dadlani). Robert Priddy said:

"The BBC investigated the backgrounds of these persons assiduously...They chose only what would make a consistent and continuous presentation within the limited time available."

The BBC was so "assiduous" and "consistent" that they made Alaya Rahm into a liar by trying to pass off his 1995 interview as his 1997 interview! Looking at the documentary, it appears consistent. Nevertheless, when compared to Alaya's other testimonies (on Seduced and Divine Downfall) the picture changes dramatically. A fact acknowledged by the Rahm Family. Needless to say, the Secret Swami documentary is now rendered useless considering a new development regarding Alaya Rahm:

- Alaya Rahm Self-Dismissed His Own Lawsuit Against The SSB Society

TRUTHS MIXED WITH UNTRUTHS  Spiritual Depths
http://home.hetnet.nl/~ex_baba/engels/articles/spiritualdepths.html
Comment: This is an article written by Rupert Smith for The Guardian. Rupert Smith was obviously unaware of the poor editing and mediocre research that went into the BBC Documentary, Secret Swami.

TRUE OR MOSTLY TRUE  Visual transcript radio interview by Rachel Kohn of Mary Garden and Mick Brown
http://home.hetnet.nl/~ex_baba/engels/shortnews/barrygarden.html
Comment: This article provides a video-link to an interview between Rachel Kohn, Mary Garden and Mick Brown that was entitled "Gurumania". Mary Garden talked about her disturbing dreams with Sathya Sai Baba and her promiscuous sexual encounters with other men. Mary's book, Serpent Rising, is also discussed. Mick Brown gave fair and balanced answers.

TRUTHS MIXED WITH UNTRUTHS  Tall Sai Pillars Crumble
http://home.hetnet.nl/~ex_baba/engels/articles/barryexcerpt3.html
Comment: Barry Pittard must have written well over a dozen articles that repeat the same material over and over, ad nauseam. Once again, Barry Pittard babbling about Dr. Michael Goldstein's secretly taped interview. Barry Pittard also made an amusing comment, saying:

"But Goldstein unless he wishes to be sued for medical malpractice - has no business claiming a professional specialty he does not possess."

However, on the ExBaba website, they published and accepted a "Clinical Diagnosis of Sathya Sai Baba's Sexual Offenses" from David Wilcock (who has no "professional specialty" training whatsoever). Why isn't Barry Pittard pointing his fingers and castigating David Wilcock for making a bogus diagnosis without possessing the relevant credentials? This proves that Barry Pittard adheres to different standards and sets the bar very high for Pro-Sai Activists and sets the bar very low for Anti-Sai Activists.
