Comment: More obsessive and repetitive stalk-material from Barry Pittard’s Anti-Sai Conspiracy blog. What is so amusing and hypocritical about this article is that many Anti-Sai Activists have gurus. Dadlani (a Hare Krishna associate) claimed Prabupada and Srila Gour Govinda Swami were his siksa gurus, O’Clery is a Ramana advocate/devotee, Kazlev is a Ramana devotee, Hanisch is a Yogananda devotee, Larsson is an advocate of Swami Brahmananda Saraswati, Conway is a devotee of Nisargadatta Maharaj, Ammachi, Ramana and numerous other gurus, Priddy claimed that Nisargadatta Maharaj is “fully realized”, as well as others. Therefore, Pittard is essentially making the amusing argument that many critics of Sai Baba are trapped in cults, are misled by gurus and have been brainwashed.

Another Bogus Case From Basava Premanand:
On October 30th 2006, Basava Premanand filed a case with the Central Information Commission In India against Sathya Sai Baba. In decision No. 330/IC(A)/2006 - F.No.CIC/MA/A/2006/00614, the CIC denied Premanand’s request due to the fact that they had already addressed his requests in decision No. 09/IC(A)/2006 on March 10th 2006. Neither Basava Premanand or his questionably ‘competent’ legal advisors were aware of this fact. Although B. Premanand filed the case, he was not present at the hearing. This is just another example of the type of ridiculous requests that Premanand engages in to harass Sathya Sai Baba and the Sai Organization. In all these years, neither Basava Premanand or his questionably ‘competent’ legal advisors have been able to make any leeway against Sri Sathya Sai Baba in any court of law in India.
NEWS UPDATE: March 2008 Update:
The ExBaba website published no less than five articles pertaining to the Jessica Lal murder case (Ref), which they continually cited as proof to support their claims that courts of law in India are corrupt and are influenced by high-ranking Indian politicians.
One of the men implicated in the Jessica Lal murder case was Vikas Yadav (Ref) and he was defended by K.N. Balgopal (Ref). Vikas Yadav is the son of D.P. Yadav, a known crime mafioso (Ref).
For those who do not know, K.N. Balgopal is the same lawyer who assisted Basava Premanand to file his bogus petition against Sathya Sai Baba for violating India’s Gold Control Act. KN Balgopal is currently the “legal advisor” for Premanand’s Indian Skeptic magazine (Ref).
I find it very disturbing that Basava Premanand’s legal advisor (KN Balagopal) was one of the lawyers who defended the son of a corrupt high-ranking Indian politician who was clearly an accomplice in the Jessica Lal murder (he was eventually convicted and sentenced to four years in jail - Ref). Just as Premanand loves to insinuate impropriety based on perceived affiliations, one is left to wonder if there are any ties between Basava Premanand, K.N. Balagopal, D.P. Yadav, the Indian Skeptic and the Mafia? Why would K.N. Balagopal defend the son of a known criminal going back to the 1970’s? Did the corrupt DP Yadav hire Balgopal to defend his son?
Anti-Sai Activists cry foul about the Jessica Lal murder case and thereby cry foul against Premanand’s legal advisor, who attempted to defend one of the men involved in the whole sordid affair. Rather amusing, if you ask me.
