Shashi Tharoor is the United Nations Under-Secretary General for Communications and Public Information, and was an official candidate to succeed Kofi Annan as UN Secretary General.

The Hindu newspaper published a story about Tharoor's visit to see Sathya Sai Baba with his mother (who is a devotee). Sathya Sai Baba materialized a ring for Tharoor and a vibuthi urn for his mother (Reference). When Tharoor was mentioned as an official candidate to succeed Kofi Annan, Indian Rationalists and Anti-Sai Activists (in particular, Sanjay Dadlani) rushed to target, slur and defame Tharoor as a superstitionist, devotee of Sai Baba and miracle monger. Here is what Tharoor had to say in his interview with Visi Tilak (Reference):

Visi Tilak: "Members of Rationalist International, an Indian-dominated forum for 'rationalist ideas and positions of world-wide concern' have asked for the withdrawal your candidature, because of your belief in Sathya Sai Baba, the self-proclaimed saint who is very controversial but extremely popular. How do you react to that?"
Shashi Tharoor: "It's difficult to take them seriously when they can't get their basic facts right. I do not believe in Satya Sai Baba; the very article they cite in their attack on me is an article describing a visit to Satya Sai Baba with my mother, and I spell out very clearly in the article that she's the believer whereas I’m a skeptic. My article made the point that in India, both infotech and spiritualism exist side-by-side. It seems to me an incontestable observation."

That's right, they can't even get their basic facts right.

Comment: This is the second article released by Robert Priddy and Barry Pittard that takes aim at Dr. G. Venkataram and his article entitled "The Inevitable Collapse Of Calumny".

Dr G Venkataraman is a former Vice-Chancellor of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning who also served at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre in Mumbai and the Indira Gandhi Atomic Research Centre in Kalpakkam. He was the Founder Director of ANURAG, a unit of DRDO - Defence Research and Development Organization. He is the recipient of the Sri C. V. Raman Centenary Award, Indira Gandhi Award and the prestigious Padma Shri Award from the Government of India. He currently teaches at the Institute besides running the Prashanti Digital Studio and Radio Sai.

Before commenting on this article, I wanted to point out how Robert Priddy hypocritically thinks he is perfectly entitled to duplicate content from the radiosai website with impunity. When the same thing was done to Priddy, he whined and threw a huge hissy fit accusing me of "copyright infringement". Priddy is incapable of practicing what he preaches.

Although Venkataram never mentioned Anti-Sai Activists, I think he is perfectly entitled to express his opinion that adversaries of Avatars are considered "enemies" and "evil". After all, this is way religious scriptures describe adversaries of Avatars. As a matter of fact, the most outspoken adversary of Sathya Sai Baba is Sanjay Dadlani. Sanjay often and repeatedly called devotees and proponents "evil" and the "devils disciples". Glen Meloy called Baba a "demented demonic force" and several Anti-Sai Activists describe Baba as the "Anti-Christ". Apparently, when Anti-Sai Activists call Baba, devotees and proponents "evil", "demonic", "the anti-christ" or "the devil's disciples" they think that is OKAY. However, when others call Anti-Sai Activists similarly, they whine, gnash their teeth and raise a huge wail. It is exactly this type of duplicitous and hypocritical behavior that leaves Anti-Sai Activists looking very confused, foolish and just plain pathetic.

It is important to point out that Venkataram did not call Anti-Sai Activists "evil". He simply related stories about Avatars (as described in religious texts) in which they had to face troubles and tribulations at the hands of evil men and demons (as in the case of the demon Jarasanda who attacked Mathura, the capital of Lord Krishna's kingdom at that time). Because Venkataram related these stories, Anti-Sai Activists immediately jumped to the worst case conspiratorial and paranoid view that Venkataram was talking about them!

Priddy & Pittard (the Anti-Sai Duet) engage in ceaseless prattle and repeat themselves ad nauseam (making the same points, over and over, they have been making for years). Apparently, Priddy & Pittard suffer from echolalia and think that by subjecting readers to their repetitive rhetoric, others in turn will transform into the same type of babbling, brainless automatons that they have become themselves. It is also amusing that Priddy & Pittard call Sathya Sai Baba "senile" when the only persons displaying what can best be described as a "senility" are Priddy & Pittard.

For example, let us consider Priddy's utterly paranoid posts on Wikipedia, in which he lied and accused me of making posts I did not make and deleting posts that I never deleted (Reference)! If Priddy is so easily confused, one is left to wonder how anything he says can be remotely trusted. Even after bringing Priddy's lies to his attention, he was wholly unapologetic and even had the audacity to accuse me for his errors! It also appears that Pittard is suffering from senility as well. Pittard claimed that there were "well over a hundred affidavits with the FBI" filed by alleged victims. These unknown and anonymous alleged victims (referred to by Barry Pittard) had supposedly taken action against Sathya Sai Baba by allegedly filing affidavits with the FBI. These alleged victims were fully prepared to participate in a court case, armed with affidavits, against Sathya Sai Baba. Along comes Alaya Rahm's Court Case and not even one single affidavit was submitted and not even one alleged victim gave a deposition or was identified to the court as a witness on Alaya's behalf. Not even one. This suggests that Barry Pittard's numbers to alleged victims (by the way, a claim made solely by him with no support from other Anti-Sai Activists) are untrue, unsubstantiated and wholly without basis.

Priddy & Pittard are the shameless liars, deceivers and paranoid nutters who are trying to attack Sathya Sai Baba and Dr G Venkataram. Their arguments are completely without effect.

It is also amusing that Priddy and Pittard claim that various organizations engaged in "strenuous investigation of credentials and documentation by former devotees". Notably not even one single alleged victim had even tried to file a police complaint or court case against Sathya Sai Baba in India. If all these notable organizations "strenuously investigated the credentials and documentation of former devotees", one is left to wonder why Sathya Sai Baba has never been formally charged with any crime. Therefore, as I have said before, the entire case against Sathya Sai Baba is based solely on hearsay, rumors, gossip, second/third-hand accounts, speculations, presumptions, inferences, conspiracy theories and the like.

The only person who filed a lawsuit was Alaya Rahm. Nevertheless, Alaya self-dismissed his own lawsuit before it ever went to trial. Not even one single witness, affidavit or deposition was taken on Alaya's behalf despite erroneous claims to there being "hundreds" to "thousands" of alleged victims. Purposely withheld from the general public was Alaya Rahm's promiscuous sexual activities and drug and alcohol use at 15 years of age (prior to meeting Sathya Sai Baba). Alaya admitted (in "Response To Form Interrogatories") to being a decade-long daily user of illegal street drugs and alcohol and said he never suffered psychological trauma that would warrant seeing a doctor, therapist or psychologist! Alaya voluntarily self-dismissed his case with prejudice on the very same day that Kreydick (a witness mentioned in "Response To Form Interrogatories" by Alaya himself) submitted his deposition that refuted all of Alaya's claims. Priddy and Pittard also deny that ex-devotees have engaged in sleaze and scandal! An utterly preposterous claim! To the contrary, my entire site documents and exposes the sleaze and scandal from ex-devotees. Strange enough, Priddy & Pittard openly promote, endorse and fully associate themselves with the sleaze-meister extraordinaire, Sanjay Kishore Dadlani. Sanjay Dadlani is a pervert, deviant and pathological liar of the worst order. Sanjay Dadlani went around secretly stalking innocent teenagers, mothers and university students with his digicam, filming them under tables and up their dresses, calling them "sluts" and "bitches" and posting over 300 pictures of his lustful escapades on his StreetBitches Blog. Sanjay also has been exposed for his Jesus Sex Fetish, his views on Child And Teen Pornography, his self-admitted Psychological Problems, his Views About Women, his self-admitted Drinking Problems, his Satanic Inclinations, his Shocking Confessions, his Long And Established History As A Pathological Liar, his apparent outward Denial Of His Own Guru Srila Prabhupada, his public Lie About Meeting Aghori Vimalananda, his Homoeroticism And Gender Confusion, his Inability To Keep A Girlfriend, his Pseudo-Devotee Posturing, his He-Man Inspired God Concept, his Lies About Being A Vegetarian, his weird claim that He Was Dying and his amusing Belief That Semen Can Be Sucked Up From The Testicles, Via The Spine, To The Brain.

And this is only the tip of the iceberg. This is the type of sleaze that Anti-Sai Activists promote and endorse. Their alleged sensitivities about sexual exploitation are one huge pretense.

Priddy & Pittard tried to defend The Times (which published 3 Anti-Sai articles) as a "respected world press leader with high standards of source checking". Needless to say, when the New York Times (also a "respected world press leader with high standards of source checking") reported a favorable article on Sathya Sai Baba (entitled A Friend in India to All the World ), Anti-Sai Activists hurled stones and Pittard even attempted to bully the New York Times with legal threats and accusations of bribery! Barry Pittard wrote a letter to the New York Times stating (in part) the following:

"We shall continue to pursue this matter vigorously. Do you wish to be sued for millions of dollars in a single scenario?...You may also be asked: How much did the Sathya Sai Baba's people pay the NYT and Bradsher to print the article? No investigator or prosecutor might wish to miss the opportunity to note the fairytale-like 'co-incidence' that another two days later another article favourable to Sathya Sai Baba appeared in the International Herald Tribune, redolent of a propagandistic attempt by the exeedingly powerful Sathya Sai Organisation's typical use of its power and influence."

According to Anti-Sai Activists, whenever an article is Anti-Sai, it is irrefutably true, accurate and honest. Whenever an article is Pro-Sai, it is patently false, inaccurate and dishonest. These are the double standards that Anti-Sai Actvists use and abuse to promote their one-sided smear campaigns against Sathya Sai Baba.

Robert Priddy and Barry Pittard are gossip queens and scandal-mongers (with proof) who care more for rhetoric and loquacity and care less for sincerity and candor.

Comment: These series of articles (by the Anti-Sai Duet Robert Priddy and Barry Pittard) should be renamed "Regurgitating The Cud", because that is exactly what they do, i.e., keep bringing up the same past claims over and over again, ad nauseam. This article once again takes aim at Dr G Venkataraman (whose credentials have been discussed on this page, 1 post up).

This article talks, in part, about the UNESCO Withdrawal, which Anti-Sai Activists boasted on having accomplished themselves by "e-bombing" Unesco with complaints. Both Priddy and Pittard fail to divulge the fact that Anti-Sai Activists are now attacking Unesco.

Priddy and Pittard's depravity and denial are astounding. They are still resorting to lies, deceit and deception regarding Alaya Rahm's self-dismissed lawsuit. Priddy and Pittard continue to repeat the untruths that Kreydick attempted to "sully Alaya's character", sully Marisa Rahm, is a "blindly subjective devotee" and is "heartless". Ironically enough, in "Response To Form Interrogatories", it was none other than Alaya Rahm himself who cited Kreydick & Family as witnesses on his behalf!

Alaya Rahm claimed that Lewis Kreydick & Family were all aware of "incidents" relating to his alleged molestation and named them (on record) as people who:

  1. Witnessed the INCIDENT or the event occurring immediately before or after the INCIDENT.
  2. Made statements at the scene of the INCIDENT.
  3. Heard statements made about the INCIDENT by any individual at the scene.
  4. Had knowledge of the INCIDENT.

Needless to say, Kreydick's sworn and video-taped deposition wholly refuted all these points made by Alaya Rahm. The Society did not actively go out and attempt to discredit Alaya. Rather, they simply interviewed a witness named by Alaya Rahm himself and obtained a shocking and damaging deposition against him.

It is also amusing to point out that Priddy recently came out of his hole shrieking and hissing on Wikipedia claiming that Kreydick's deposition was not part of the official court record (Reference). As one can see, Priddy is now absolutely mute about his former erroneous comments and is now trying to gloss over the issue by resorting to yet another argument.

Robert Priddy and Barry Pittard once again bring up the issue of "experts in sexual abuse". Alaya was so "seriously sexually abused" he suffered no psychological trauma that would have required medical or psychiatric care, by his own admission. Alaya identified no psychologist who had ever examined him. Priddy and Pittard can garble all they like about "sexual abuse experts". The fact of the matter is that are no known "sexual abuse experts" who examined Alaya or were willing to testify or speak on his behalf. Not even one "sexual abuse expert". Therefore, Priddy and Pittard are basing all their arguments on speculation and assumption (which they love to do with Baba as well).

As a matter of fact, Alaya Rahm never saw an "expert psychologist" and his parents never sent him to one. Rather, the only help that Alaya obtained was a 3 day seminar from the Landmark Forum on "Empowerment, self help and personal growth" that cost $795 in June 2005 (5 years after his alleged abuse and 5 months after he filed his lawsuit)! That's it.

Alaya's court cases wholly lacked any legal basis. That is why Alaya Rahm initially self-dismissed his court case against Goldstein and Sathya Sai Baba and later self-dismissed his court case against the Society. In this blog post, Sanjay attempted to argue that since certain Shirdi Sai Devotees did not accept Sathya Sai to be Shirdi Sai's reincarnation that this must mean that they are correct. Of course, it will come as a shock to Shirdi Sai Devotees that Sanjay said the following about Shirdi Sai Baba on Google Groups (using the name "SANJAY DADLANI" and "Dark Knight"):

If Sanjay expressed such contempt for Shirdi Sai Baba, why does Sanjay value and attribute merit to the opinions of Shirdi Sai's devotees? Sanjay hates Shirdi Sai Baba because Sanjay is a Hare Krishna Congregational Member. When Shirdi Sai's devotees claim that Shirdi Sai is God, Lord Krishna, the Supreme Being, etc., Sanjay does not believe them and considers them to be misguided and brainwashed and are not to be believed. Why then does Sanjay take their word regarding what they do and do not believe in relation to Sathya Sai Baba? Sanjay only references these devotees because he thinks it advances his self-serving smear campaigns against Sathya Sai Baba. There is no other reason.

Comment: This is the fourth "regurgitating the cud" article written by the Anti-Sai Siamese-Twins (Robert Priddy and Barry Pittard) that takes aim at Dr G Venkataraman (who credentials have already been provided on this page).

Priddy and Pittard say absolutely nothing new or novel in this article. They are simply (vulture-like) circling around Venkataraman's comments and obsessively pecking over each and every single thing he says to the point of sheer absurdity. However, I would like to address an amusing response given by Priddy and Pittard that highlights their blatant hypocrisy and self-serving agenda.

In response to Venkataraman's stories about Lord Rama's "drama" with Ravana, Sabari, Jatayu, Sugriva, etc. (from the Ramayana, a revered Hindu text), Priddy and Pittard said:

"Nor can any intelligent person make good or relevant sense of it in the modern world – it is just a fantastic, impossible concocted story of the 'Superman' kind – with 'monkey-man' Hanuman lifting and flying aloft with a whole mountain (so Rama could pick out a herb from it!) or jumping across the sea to Sri Lanka. Come on, how can one be so backward intellectually? This may be o.k. for ignorant peasants, but the thinking world must regard it as sheer delusion!"

What is so amusing about these comments is that Robert Priddy wrote an article in 1988 in which he fully expressed his belief in elementals, elves, fairies, leprechauns, gnomes, trolls, water spirits, animal and plant spirits, 'devas' or angels, invisible helpers, shaman 'spirits', 'allies', UFOs, extra-terrestrials, possessive demons, Satan, Pan-figures and other demi-gods (Reference)!

Sanjay Dadlani (an Anti-Sai Activist) is a Hare Krishna Congregational Member who fully believes in the Ramayana and the miracle stories related therein. Robert Priddy's own son, Kai Nicolai Priddy (an Anti-Sai Activist and member of the Anti-Sai "JuST" Group) believes in Astrology and even created an astrology reading program (Reference).

Alan Kazlev (an Anti-Sai Activist and good friend to both Priddy and Pittard) believes in reincarnation, spirit possession, miraculous materializations and the like (including UFO's, aliens, alternate realities, cosmic redemption, planetary Buddhas, genuine avataric gurus, psychic powers, devas, Earth spirits, elementals, the occult and kundalini). Kazlev also rants about his previous lives on his own site.

Alexandra Nagel (an Anti-Sai Activist) professed belief in Seth, a channeled spirit entity that allegedly speaks through a psychic medium.

Anthony Tony O'Clery (an Anti-Sai Activist) professed belief in Atlantis and Lemuria, Edgar Cayce (a man called "The Sleeping Prophet" who had spirit entities speak through him), shape-shifting (literally changing one's physical body to that of an animal, bird, reptile or other creature), UFO's, aliens, alien abductions, reincarnation, black magic using semen, astral planes with astral beings, thought forms, psychic attacks, kundalini, psychics, mediums, karma, the Mayan calendar apocalypse, talking to the dead, demon possession, channeling, prophecies, bilocation and believes that Hiranyakasipu (a mythological demon who is said to have existed millions of years ago) was able to manipulate matter completely and could create ships that could go to the stars from earth. As I said before, they don't come much weirder than Anti-Sai Activists. These are the shameless liars, deceivers, flip-floppers and nutters trying to "expose" Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba (and doing a very bad job at it, by the way).
