A libellous attack was made by Joè Morèno on his website as reported in the following. He stated that, if you have come across the newer Online Public Petition, from JuST (Just Seekers of Truth), calling for an Investigation of Sathya Sai Baba and His Worldwide Organization, on SaiPetition.net, there are some startling things you may not know." Further his opinion was that the 32 original signatories on SaiPetition.net, comprises a group calling themselves "JuST", or the "Just Seekers Of Truth". And futher, he continued to say that JuST has created a bogus petition at SaiPetition.net that calls for "Official Investigations of Sathya Sai Baba and His Worldwide Organisation". He asserted that this online petition misleads the public into thinking that it is legal and genuine when it is neither.JuST differentiates themselves from the Sai Organization that they deem "dishonest", "secretive", "insincere" and maintaining "soviet-style" control over information. In an irrelevant conclusion he makes the untrue claim that, despite the fact that JuST is quick to point out the faults of the Sai Organization, JuST has clearly shown, through SaiPetition.net, that they not only maintain "soviet style" control over their site, they also do so in a manner that is "dishonest", "secretive" and "insincere". He then serves out the advice that it's time that the Just Seekers Of Truth live up to their name.

"A bogus petition"? No, it is a just petition for people who support its contentions to confirm by signing, basta! "Not genuine" implies most vaguely that the petition itself is fraudulent, is a faked document, has only a few or a minority of real signatures (if any), and that it forwards baseless accusations. However, it suffers from none of these faults. It is based on a large number of individual allegations made through years, and on other evidence that has been amassed. Many signers have detailed these in detailed articles.

Signatures have come in steadily through two years. Some entries from persons known to exposé activists are heart-rending, but Morèno demonstrates that he cares nothing for them. The comments are accurately reproduced (while any inserts not complying with rules of netiquette and common decency - as well as bogus entries by anti-petition spammers - are removed). This guards precisely against fakers like Morèno.

Morèno doubts that genuine people with genuine grievances are backing the petition. Only a hopelessly prejudiced person could level so inclusive a charge against so many signers... in short a fully Sai-deluded follower of years of involvement (however bad or inconsistent a follower of the teaching).
He shows a dilletant's disregard for investigation of facts. For example, he has stated elsewhere that the petition has been running for 4 years. This means it must have begun in 2000, but the actual date was mid-2002! it was 'the Findings' which appeared on the web in 2000, not the Sai Petition.
In short, Morèno distorts and/or invents facts to suit himself, which points to a basic insincerity & dishonesty. See the answer he got from the JuST group, which makes clear how his attack is base and baseless.
