Notice that ExBaba.com lies when they say that the images are "similar but not the same" as my images. I made these images myself. The colors were chosen by me and a simple color match revealed that the very same color grid I used on these images were amazingly duplicated by ExBaba.com! This is a lie, unless of course, they managed to select the exact color out of millions of shades of greens, yellows and reds! They tried to deceive others by making the pictures larger, distorting them, but restore them to their original size and violla, there are my images!

My Comments Are Regarding the Following 12 Video Clips and about the GuruBusters and Secret Swami Online Movies.

It is also fair to point out there are hundreds of video-taped materializations from Sathya Sai Baba and, out of these hundreds, ExBaba.com has produced only 12.

Exbaba comment: 'Hundreds' is an exaggeration! He is seen waving his hand as to produce vibuthi on about three dozen films, but these clips are invariably incomplete, since the editors have begun the clip where the hand waves, not where the legardemain takes place before it! This can be seen on all the Richard Bock films, for a start. ExBaba has only shown clips which have been shown on national TV in one or another country. No attempt has been made to show more, though many can be found, according to the maker of the main body of Sai videos.

People have filmed Baba since the 1960's. You can view other materializations at SaiOline.org and you can view the physical manifestations in Colusa, Californa or the miracles page of JK.

 Video Clip 01

I agree, this clip looks suspicious. The natural comment for Morèno to make would be that Sai Baba does pretend to 'materialisation' when his is actually using sleight of hand, this being supported by numerous other reports (such as by the Sai apologist Bon Giovanni, former Central Coordinators Gallagher and Levy, plus the very close devotees the Baileys, Larsson and plenty of others).

 Video Clip 02

This clip is duplicated on Number 11.

 - Video Clip 03

I played this clip in slow motion and in full screen mode and Baba does not grab something from his other hand. Baba does, indeed bring his hands together in a peculiar way, but instead of reaching into the other hand, the hand rests on top of the left hand. Definitely room for doubt. Exbaba comment: but doubt of a miracle should be the operative idea here, especially since Sai Baba has declared that he will never submit to any form of scientific or controlled investigation.

 - Video Clip 04

Morèno agrees, but! I agree with ExBaba.com, this video clip definitely is "not very okay". There is static all over the screen, and even in full screen mode in slow motion, I cannot see what they are talking about. The description says, "the left hand is taking over something from the right hand, in which he holds a letter too", however, all I see is Baba taking and passing a letter from his right hand to his left hand. Something Baba does often. To include this very poor video clip and accuse Baba of trickery is desperate, at best.
This instance is just another small hole in the wall of Sai deceits. But one sees here as elsewhere that Morèno 'desperately' sees what he wants to see, thinks what he wants to go on believing in. This is the common reaction of nearly all devotees who have been in regular contact with Sai Baba for 10 years or more (as Morèno reported that he has). It is a case of cognitively dysfunctional derangement, know also as 'brain-washing', which condition is unrecognised by its sufferer unless or until serious events intervene to remove one of the supports of the house of cards. It is a very common ailment, experienced in many religious or 'spiritual' cults, in UFO circles and any number of other human groups trapped in closed belief systems.

 - Video Clip 05

Morèno agrees, but! I agree, this one looks suspicious. Note: Saying that Baba’s reaching under the handful of letters is “totally unnecessary” is not completely accurate. People give Baba letters in all sizes, from very small, single pieces of paper (as I have done myself) to letters in envelopes of all sizes. Baba can often be seen adjusting the letters in his hands even when he is not materializing vibuthi and has, on occasion, dropped letters that slipped from among the bundle of letters. Still trying to wriggle out of it somehow, find the slightest crack of light in it all! This is a result of the 'true believer' syndrome. The price of drawing the natural conclusion is a collapse of faith which many person's psyches simply cannot stand. Ex-devotees, however, who have often long accepted and believed, came to the most painful realisation that they had been duped, and so can be said no longer to have been biassed in that respect... i.e. as victims of the cognitive disorder known as the 'true believer' syndrome.

 - Video Clip 06

Morèno agrees, but! I agree, this clip looks suspicious. The only strange about this clip is that the man, who supposedly gives Baba the necklace, seems totally oblivious to the task at hand. If you stare at his face, he is not looking at Baba, or Baba’s hands, except for a split second moment where Baba’s hands go near his and looks like he is catching something. Also, GuruBusters says Baba retrieved the necklace from under the award, that it was not handed to Baba by the man. So even the stories contradict each other.
This clip is not as clear as the original one, which makes the alleged deceit more apparent. Still, there is the visual evidence and there are interpretations of it. Morèno's interpretation is a loaded one as usual, soon diverting his attention to an argument against a report rather than the actual perceptions. Though no definititive conclusion should be drawn from this clip on its own, we see again the way Morèno's mind expresses psychological denial, like most other devotees.
What he already believes is what he wants to salvage! Many devotees were appalled when they saw this on BBC TV and, though they wanted to discount it, recognised it as legardemain gone wrong. Independent persons throughout UK who saw it needed no convincing. (Note however that Prof. Haraldsson who examined this in detail could draw no conclusion either of faking or genuineness from it. However, he had already inadvisedly staked his professional prestige as a scientist on supporting - on the basis of a mass of hearsay evidence - many claims of miracles by Sai Baba in his book 'Miracles are My Visiting Cards' and he has withdrawn completely from and debate on the subject since 2000, when the weakness of his investigations 'at a distance' of Sai Baba became all too obvious. Honour to him, nonetheless, for esposing the deception about the supposed 'physical resurrection' of Walter Cowan by Sai Baba, and also for later exposing Swami Premananda's 'vibuthi manifestation' so decisively together with Richard Wiseman - as written up in 'The Journal of Psychic Studies')

 - Video Clip 07

Morèno disagrees! The description is not accurate. Baba does not always, in “all his vibuthi materialization” bring his two hands into contact. I have witnessed Baba materialize vibuthi, perhaps hundreds of times, and he materializes it in many different ways. Sometimes, not even making circles or making any sort of crushing movements with his fingers. Sometimes Baba touches someones forehead and a large vibuthi mark appears or Baba places his hand on someone's head and the vibuthi appears. Also, sometimes, Baba will swirl his hand and instead of vibuthi being poured from his hand, his entire palm surface will be coated in vibuthi, which he rubs on afflictions or limbs.

However, Morèno is not a reliable witness - precisely on the contrary - because he makes clear that he has lapped up the 'wonderful experiences' including 'materialisations' like any devotee. He has evidently not studied these frauds with a view to discovering how they can be done, until very recently with video clips. Many magicians can do amazing tricks without people ever finding out the method. Sai Baba gives his ash (vibuthi) to ladies at the start of most interviews. Before he does so he invariably switches on the lights in the interview room himself, at a box high up on the wall. Did Morèno look on top of that box when he had the interview where he was 'oiled' by Sai Baba? That Sai Baba exercises fraud is beyond doubt, but that he also formerly used siddhi powers, like tantriks and other swamis do to apport vibuthi appear cannot there be excluded. As the many accounts on ExBaba show, some contributors are total sceptics, some not, for individual perspectives and explanations differ.

 - Video Clip 08

Morèno shows the degree of his gullibility and simplistic faith here, stating that I have seen this video but the video cannot explain how the amrita can stick to 20 people’s hands without being redipped back into the amrita jar. I can comment on this firsthand, because I, myself, have been to Sriragnapatnam, back in the early 90's, with a group from Brazil. There were about 20 of us in two vans. The 2 amulets that oozed amrita were passed around to every single person without being redipped back into the amrita cups. My palm was cupped and I got about a teaspoon of amrita in my hand, as did everyone else. There was one lady from whose hand the amrita kept flowing after the amulet was removed. Everyone was startled (but none as much as she) and you could see it overflowing from her hand and dripping everywhere!

Furthermore, one of my friends, who had been to Sri Ragnapatnam, in the 70’s, gave me a sample and it tasted exactly as the amrita I got in the 90’s. Yes, it lasted that long.

It is also fair to point out that the amrita that manifests on the pictures of devotees, all around the world, tastes and smells exactly as the amrita at Sri Ragnapatnam.

Any one care to divulge the recipe of amrita? I have never tasted anything so exquisite in my life. Anyone who could come up with the recipe (that should not be too difficult considering some poor, conniving person in India is making it), could make a lot of money making amrita. It’s taste is beyond description. Everyone single person who has tasted it has had the same response. A taste and fragrance beyond compare. I know I would buy it in the gallons, if I could. Has anyone been able to duplicate the forumula? Why not?

The recipe for amrita is simple sugar water with tea rose essence, the result is identical to so-called 'Sai amrit'. The tea rose essence in seldom met with, so it make the amrit perfume/taste seem unique. See nectar of the gods? Or rose water?
Like most others, Morèno believes it 'exquisite' because of what it represented to him :the grace of god to him (in sensory, culinary form!) As conferring eternal life on the devas (in the 'ramayana' myth). One imagines it is often taken in Sai circles to mean that Sai Baba is lining one up for liberation. But it's all in the mind, Morèno.
Same with the amrit at Srirangapatnam 'orphanage'. The 'flow'of amrit from the amulets is just a dribble, not much at all. When visitors increased, suddenly there were two amulets, but there was originally only one!) Halagappa does not allow it to rest on your hand more than a short time. The amulets may well be hollow with concealed opening at top and bottom, which allows more amrit to run out, but Halagappa never allows genuine examination of either amulet (he limits it to seconds)! (the 'Seduced' film team were not able to test it properly. One would think this would be very helpful to all, IF it were genuine). One is not allowed to dry it off and wait for a new flow, for example. Why?

Sometimes Halagappa scrapes away the flow with his spoon beneath the amulet on your hand to show that yet more will flow, but then the amulet gets more amrit from the spoon as he is scraping up to it. A clever deceit! Then there are the feet of Shirdi carved in stone which allegedly "sweat amrit". Why does Halagappa stand nearby while one tests it? (There is such a thing as a simple hydraulic footpump).

What happened to the miraculous vibuthi box Halagappa allegedly 'found', which refills itself when shaken? He told one of us it had stopped producing any more!
Here the Sai temple orphans wear rags & have no proper books or other facilities, while Halagappa's (second) wife wears diamonds and where the 'temple' has been marbled and beautified at great expense. Yet the donations made by visitors are truly enormous. The taxi firms are hand-in-glove with halagappa too... One big scam!

Sai baba has himself warned in discourses against "happenings in Mysore and Madras" (Sathya Sai Speaks vol. 10, p. 186) and "in Mysore state there are some who distribute amrith, vibhuuthi and other articles annopuncing that they are showering from their pictures at their places... Devotees should keep far away from such places and persons" (Sathya Sai Speaks vol. 11, p. 147). So much for the genuineness of Halagappa's tricks and his collection of funds (another financial competitor to the Sai Central Trust!)

 - Video Clip 09

Whoever wrote this interpretation of the video, is clearly misleading people as to what it actually shows. I watched this video thinking that Baba was producing something and it indeed looked like Baba 100%, fake “created” something. However, upon watching it some more, there is something everyone needs to know. Baba did NOT create anything!

The clip begins with Baba making a hand gesture, up in the air (with his right hand), for someone to “turn” something. Baba reaches behind him (with his right hand) and is pulling the pillow up, out from under him. While doing this, Baba is still making hand gestures (with his left hand) and talking to someone about doing something. Then Baba briefly stands up and makes another hand gesture of “turning” something (with his right hand) and this is where someone mistook Baba as producing something. Clearly, he did not produce ANYTHING. If you look at the all the people’s faces surrounding Baba, they are looking in the very same direction as Baba. The people show no facial expressions or suggest in any way that Baba produced anything. No interest, nothing. Also, two women, on the right hand of the screen, clearly look to where Baba is talking and it is far away from Baba, they do not look at someone close to Baba at all.

This clip is a perfect example of how someone can influence what you see by stating untruths and having you see that untruth. However, if you view this clip without knowing anything about it, what you will see it entirely differently than what is claimed.

Several leading devotees have testified to repeated faking - a former UK Sai Org. President (later the central coordinator for UK/Eire) saw all 'materialisations' during his last 10 or 12 interviews as done by sleight of hand. He saw that trinkets, rings, lingams, malas etc. were taken by Sai from behind him in his chair! At the time he thought it was O.K. because of the faith and joy it seemed to give those who received them! This is how the mind tricks itself further and further into accepting deceit, and anything at all! Again, Morèno evidently has a big personal investment in believing in the genuineness of Sai Baba, from which bias he is still unable to free himself.

I agree, this one looks suspicious
Comment: one should rather say that is clear visible evidence!

Video Clip 11 (2 Clips)

 - First Clip I reviewed this clip several times, and although I do see the part about the fingers being bent then stretching out flat, I do not see Baba’s mouth opening or closing at all. Also, when Baba is bringing the handkerchief up to his mouth, his fingers are holding the handkerchief differently and it is fairly open. I actually gave a handkerchief to 3 friends (not telling them what I had in mind) and I asked them to wipe their mouth with it (pretending as if they were wiping ketchup from their mouth). Believe it or not, all 3 held the handkerchief with the fingers on one of their hands bent (very much like Baba showed in this clip) and when they wiped their mouth, they did the same thing Baba did, stretched their fingers flat as they wiped their mouth. Without telling a friend what you are thinking, have them do the same and then judge this clip as you will. What a brilliantly scientific experiment... very conclusive proof to the punters, doubtless. Then "believe what you will" the same old mantra again! Rather, take note of all the fakirs in India who have done the same trick (as captured on films), including the now totally discredited Sai-lookalike Swami Premananda, whose Shivarathri 'regurgitations' also went on for many years. Some swallow a lingam up to 24 hours in advance, while it is completely evident that Sai Baba cannot perform this trick any longer, as the BBC documentary shows with complete clarity. Sara Pavan's video of the same event was so strongly coloured that the vomit - which was clear as water - appeared to be yellow. So devotees claimed it was 'liquid gold', preposterous notion (considering the melting point of gold). To keep faith in the 'lingodbhava' which is supposed to give those who see it liberation form the wheel of life is essential to very many devotees who have sacrificed much to get there and see it. It is very had luck on them all.
 - Second Clip I agree, this clip looks suspicious. However, in all honesty, this clip only shows a very short segment of the emergence of the lingam. It does not show even 10 seconds earlier to see how the towel was handled or anything. This clip would be more credible if it showed the preceding events and not just one isolated and highly specific segment.

Many Contradictions Reconciled
See End of Article

The testimonies of Sam Young are listed on three sites: 1) Divine Downfall, by Mick Brown, October 27th, 2000, in the Daily Telegraph, UK; 2) Seduced, Danish TV Documentary aired January 30th, 2002; and 3) Secret Swami, BBC Documentary aired June 17th, 2004.

There are some serious contradictions, in these three testimonies, that need to be addressed. (Morèno waffled on at length here, tying himself up in more and more petty knots, all of which has been cut out as it is redundant, like most of Morèno's writings. Aficianados of Sai Baba are welcome at Morèno's site somewhere to struggle on through it all.)

***CLICK HERE FOR RAHM FAMILY RESPONSE***

Morèno's fleabiting comments have been cleared up by the Rahms beyond any reasonable doubt. Just one more illustrative example of suspicious nit-picking and facile misunderstandings by Morèno.

 - Video Clip Secret Swami

I feel this documentary strived to present an honest and balanced view, but failed to do so. I watched and saved the entire documentary. I disagreed with their secret filming of Goldstein. If this was done to Sam Young, I am sure people would have thought it terribly unfair. I also have issues on how they did not demand proof from B. Premanand who claimed that Sathya Sai Baba was a "Witness to the murders". Neither he, nor anyone else, knows that. This documentary's most compelling testimony came from Sam Young. Unfortunately, this documentary edited the content so heavily, that they gave an incorrect portrayal of events that makes it sound like Sam Young is telling conflicting stories. The Rahm (Young) family has clarified these contradictions. If their story is true, the section that deals with Sam Young's interviews was totally misrepresented. Why did this BBC Documentary, that was well researched by professionals, fail to give an honest account in regard to Sam Young's testimony? It is now upto Tanya Datta and David Savill (david.savill@bbc.co.uk) to ask the important questions that they initially failed to ask. If they fail to enquire into these serious discrepancies, the BBC Documentary, Secret Swami, will be suspected of dishonesty and inaccurate reporting. As a matter of fact, the suspicions are now a reality.
It is Morèno and other Sai-deluded persons who suspect the BBC of dishonesty. Anyhow Morèno had to admit that the facts have been cleared up for him by Al Rahm in a mail. The BBC team were sloppy in some details (see below)- but the film as a whole brought out the main facts, but the media make mistakes, of course, it is almost second-nature to them!
The documentary also misreported on the Sathya Sai water project because they were taken to one of the few showpiece villages where the water actually flows! That tank has been seen to often in other propaganda films. They also failed to report the private, unaccountable nature of the Sai hospitals and their use without charge for rich Sai devotees from abroad when supposedly they are for the poor of the region. The BBC did not mention the kidney theft at the Puttaparthi hospital (proven in court).
So should we trust the BBC? Oddly enough, people do so around the world, despite all. One must be gullible indeed to expect that any modern media are or will be perfect. "The Secret Swami" is still a long-needed piece of investigative journalism amid all massive official money-driven pro-the Sai propaganda. The hidden camera was made necessary because of the cover-up of dr. M. Goldstein of his non-investigation of the allegations which he had - & still has - a mandatory reporting duty to investigate properly. He was also caught unawares back-stage telling what he and the Sai Org. actually believes above all else, which he never admits in public presentations. That is blatant deceit!

MORE COMMENTS: "The Secret Swami" gets right behind the Sai Org. smoke-screen... it would convince anyone (who has no investments or attachments) to lose! Goldstein comes across very definitively as the about biggest ego and most distasteful ranting doctor from the gates of hell (at least for sexually abused youth)! Steer well clear of him until he loses his license to practice. He even beats the arrogant and ignorant Indian ex-Minister Joshi in the very-hard-to-stomach-conceited golden stakes! Two most pompous an angry big shots with evil expressions and rakshaka attitudes to match... a great 'example' of what Sai leaders really are!
Issac Tigrett performs as a loud and laughing fool who admits that he believes the sex allegations are true and it makes no difference whatever to his faith!! Nor would even murder by Sai Baba make any difference to him. Are these the "human values" the Sai Org. spouts about? Not in theory, but in practice, yes.

Every decent person who see this must recoil in revulsion. The former Home Minister of Andhra Pradesh makes clear that the murders were cold-blooded and the police reports were all sheer lies and he intends to support the reopening of the quashed case.
Sai Baba looks ghastly in many clips - all who see this realise him to be a sick and lying cheat, his fraud seen with great and indisputable close-up clarity on the BBC film of the lingam 'materialisation' In one long-lasting shot, the light catches his lips so that he looks exactly like the ugly love-&-money-sucking vampire he has in actual fact turned out to be.
