ROBERT PRIDDY: The Priddy Side:

Robert Priddy (born 1936) is the British author of the Pro-Sai book Source of the Dream - My Way to Sathya Sai Baba, which eulogized the Indian guru Sathya Sai Baba as God Incarnate and the Avatar of the Age. Robert Priddy no longer follows his former Sai Guru and now devotes his time to writing defamatory articles against the Guru he once hailed as Omniscient, Omnipresent and an Incarnation Of Divine Love.

Robert Priddy wrote many articles from 1988 to 1998 in Sanathana Sarathi, the official magazine of the Sathya Sai Organization and researched and taught philosophy and sociology at the University of Oslo from 1968-85. Now retired, Robert Priddy is currently married to Reidun Priddy and had one son from a former marriage, Kai Nicolai Priddy (who is more well known for creating astrology software on his astrology domain, abacusastrology.co.uk). ROBERT PRIDDY: The Not So Priddy Side:

In 2000 (elsewhere 2002), after being a Sai Devotee for 17 - 26 years and resigning as an official in the Sathya Sai Organisation, Robert Priddy wrote the Anti-Sai book End of the Dream: The Sathya Sai Baba Enigma (published in India by the Anti-Sai Activist and tabloid critic Basava Premanand). Robert C. Priddy maintains (so far known) five critical websites and one critical blog (mirroring the same content) against Sathya Sai Baba and defames and attacks the Indian Guru on various online forums, sometimes using incognito web-identities.

On this page, Robert Priddy claimed that he is an “independent observer and relatively neutral witness to the Sai Baba phenomenon and movement”. Anyone who views Priddy’s 6 Anti-Sai websites or his Anti-Sai articles (numbering in the hundreds) can clearly see that Robert Priddy is anything but an “independent observer and relatively neutral witness to the Sai Baba phenomenon and movement”. This shows how Priddy tries to present himself one way, when in fact, he is quite another way.

“Some of what I experienced of SSB’s extraordinary and positive powers through many years is undeniable, even after the most rigorous skeptical investigations, and I do not regard him as any ordinary human being. I have simply had to realize that his actions in the worldly and human sphere are not infallible and are not always setting a perfect example for others.”

Despite this fact, Robert Priddy thinks that Satya Sai Baba is a fraud and lousy magician. Priddy also said that Sai Babqa has “inexplicable psychic powers”, is “psychically sensitive” and can materialize “apports”. Of course, it’s comments like these that leave the door open just enough to compromise Priddy’s entire argument against Sathya Sai Baba’s paranormal powers and abilities.

Robert Priddy sees nothing wrong with this type of behavior. This is disgusting and reprehensible and points directly to Priddy’s cold, bitter and dark personality.

Ojvind Kyro will only confirm that he has 10 affidavits (under strict secrecy and refuses to discuss even basic questions about them). Half of the alleged affidavits disappeared. At home.hetnet.nl/~ex_baba/engels/articles/fraudulent.html, in an article entitled “Sathya Sai Baba Diamond Ring For Sale Cheap!”, Robert Priddy said:

“Incidentally, I am quite willing to sell under public scrutiny that allegedly 'utterly invaluable' green diamond ring which Sathya Sai Baba 'materialised' for me at Christmas 1986. It is very clearly photographed with a macro lens and can be seen in my published book Source of the Dream from 1994, republished in 1998 and 2000...But I require a sum equivalent to what I have donated to SSB through the years. Any takers? I think not! Ha ha!”

One will notice that Priddy said he is selling the ring “for sale cheap” (which would imply he didn’t donate very much to Sai Baba). Why is Priddy still holding on to the ring from the guru he hates so much? Apparently, money is his motive. Also, Priddy has not divulged how much money he made off of his Sai Baba books. It is evident that Mr. Priddy received money from his books equivalent (or more) to the amount he donated to Sathya Sai Baba.

Robert Priddy tried to clarify his original articles (with their many discrepancies) and not only failed to clarify, but continued to reference embellished newspaper clipping, continued to cite unsubstantiated, anonymous reports as “evidence” and continued to claim that Ojvind Kyro has 20 affidavits (despite the fact the Ojvind Kyro said he only has 10). Robert Priddy is afraid to mention to my name (despite his clear references to me) and does not provide a link to my article despite his grievance with my critique (Robert Priddy does not refute any of the claims I made against him). Does Robert Priddy have something to hide from the general public? It most appears that he does.

Priddy had also posted on the Furl website, using the name “HolyRobot”.

It appears that Mr. Priddles paid to get his Anti-Sai Site listed on SeekInsider.com (which is a no longer existent, pay-per-click Search Engine) under the Category: “World Wide Sex Com - World Wide Sex Directory - World Wide Sex”! Guess Mr. Priddles did not have the foresight to see that by listing his website on a World Wide Sex Directory, porn sites would reference his website for content.

Needless to say, Priddy never even cared to verify this faked signature. Nevertheless, Priddy cited the fake name on a “Prominient Ex Devotees” list and only removed it after 19 months of unremitting pressure from me.

Priddy happened to employ this same tactic with Leo Rebello (which resulted in a lawsuit threat against Priddy and the site was deleted by AngelTowns for dematory content). AngelTowns2 deleted this new defamatory site, in its entirety, before it ever saw the light of day!

Robert Priddy deleted his story about his air-signaller training in the R.A.F. in 1955-6, Stationed at Swanton Morley, near Dereham, Norfolk. The reason he deleted this page was probably because he didn’t want everyone to read how he “feigned incompetence” and was dismissed from his 9 year contract to serve in the National Service. Priddy planned on how to “get the chop” and purposely made his logbook into a “glorious hodge-podge of every kind of omission and futile mistake”. Priddy said that he had “a certain guilt in my having feigned incompetence when I was actually about 95% capable”. The end result? Priddy got the “chop” he sought and became a “Z reservist” (the last group to be called in the event of a war). Which was “quite a boon!”, as Priddy blurted.

Robert Priddy created his own Wikipedia page attempting to promote himself as an notable individual although all the information on his Wiki-page must be taken at face value because it has never been published in reputable or reliable sources. Robert C. Priddy uses the name “ProEdits” on Wikipedia and has been exposed (much to his chagrin) for telling gutter untruths. More importantly, Robert Priddy (as “ProEdits”) revealed how shabbily he researched his information before soliciting his blatant lies as factual, truthful and honest. See:

Although Robert Priddy repeatedly claims that he is a scholar and hence knows how to research like one, it is surprising to note just how gullible, naive and wide-eyed he was when he was a Sai Devotee (although he claimed he was not brainwashed and wrote an entire chapter on not believing blindy in his Pro-Sai book “Source Of The Dream”). As a matter of fact, Robert Priddy believed that Sathya Sai Baba’s advent was prophesized thousands of years ago in the Mahabharata and the Old Testament! Some amusing examples:

The above examples are only a few of literally dozens of articles in which Robert Priddy stole my titles and metatag information and merged it with his own webpages. Robert Priddy plagiarized my works and he has neither issued an apology or retracted his acts of plagiarism.
