According to the Columbia Encyclopedia, pedophilia (or paedophilia) is defined as:
“A psychosexual disorder in which there is a preference for sexual activity with prepubertal children. Pedophiles are almost always males. Sexual fantasies, looking, or fondling are more common than genital contact. Sexual offenses against children make up a significant proportion of reported criminal sex acts.

Pedophilia or paedophilia is the paraphilia of being sexually attracted primarily or exclusively to prepubescent or peripubescent children. A person with this attraction is called a pedophile (or paedophile).
Irrefutable Facts About The “Sai Baba Pedophile” Defamations:
Ex-Devotees have alleged that “hundreds” to “thousands” of “minors”, “children” and “male youth” have been molested by Sathya Sai Baba. Needless to say, all of the alleged victims (including their mothers and fathers) have all (without exception) failed in their legal duty of “mandated reporting” and are thereby (using critic’s arguments) “accomplices in sexual molestation crimes”. When no one (including mothers, fathers and/or relatives) has filed a basic police complaint, public grievance or court case against Sathya Sai Baba in India for the alleged molestations of “children”, why should Sai Devotees make complaints or launch investigations based on internet rumors spread by people who have proven themselves (time and again) to be pathological prevaricators? These indisputable facts strongly solidify the argument that Sathya Sai Baba never molested children.
Critics have ridiculously asserted (with no proof whatsoever) that Sathya Sai Baba is a “pedophile” who runs elite pedophile and human trafficking rings by shipping Negros to India from New York’s ghettos for sexual purposes (Ref). Despite these absurd and outlandish allegations, Sathya Sai Baba and the Sai Organization have never (ever) been charged or implicated with any pedophile rings or people trafficking rings (either directly, indirectly or otherwise). Nor have any reputable media agencies or independent journalists been able to confirm even one single instance of alleged pedophilia and/or human trafficking related to Sathya Sai Baba or the Sai Organisation.
Former Followers have a nasty habit of sexualizing everything pertaining to Sathya Sai Baba and Sai Proponents. This deviant and perverse sexualization of Sai Baba is a highly prevalent tactic employed by former followers (Ref), even with absurd claims that Sai Baba is engaging in questionable sexual acts in full view of thousands of devotees while being recorded on video. For example, see the edited Ex-Baba movie clip entitled Sai Baba Groin (approximately 950kb, wmv file). Robert Priddy (one of the main spokespersons for the Anti-Sai movement) attempted to portray Sathya Sai Baba as a homosexual and transvestite (Ref). Ex-Devotees have also maliciously accused Joe Moreno of being sexually abused by Sathya Sai Baba despite his many repeated clarifications to the contrary (Ref). Robert Priddy has openly falsified sexual molestation claims against Moreno (Refs: 01 - 02 - 03 - 04). Moreno has also been targeted by critics and hundreds of webpages have been created to defame and libel him (Ref). This type of blatant dishonesty strongly suggests that critics are not as truthful, sincere or compassionate as they claim to be.
The Anti-Sai Movement is an extremist hate group that continually attempts to incite anger, hatred and malice against Sathya Sai Baba. Barry Pittard (one of the main spokespersons for the Anti-Sai movement) attempted to incite Islamic Terrorists to slaughter Jews and foreigners at Sathya Sai Baba’s ashrams in Puttaparthi and Whitefield (Ref). Ex-Devotees (particulary Barry Pittard, Reinier Van Der Sandt, Barbara Dent and Tal Brooke) have openly boasted about their attempts (and successes) to polarize Christians against Sathya Sai Baba (Ref). The anonymous SaiBaba-Invigilator blog speciously claimed that Sathya Sai Baba promotes “Tantric Corpse Eating” (Ref). Sanjay Dadlani (under the pseudonym “kick his head in”) said that someone should murder Sathya Sai Baba (Ref) and even rejoiced when a Sai Baba temple was bombed by a terrorist (Refs: 01 - 02). Kevin Shepherd (a critic who has never seen and was never devoted to Sai Baba) spuriously alleged that Sathya Sai Baba is allied with terrorists. The rationalist Indian Skeptic magazine published a fake picture of Sathya Sai Baba holding hands with Idi Amin and attempted to pass it off as an original picture (Ref). Basava Premanand claimed that the “Sathya Sai Baba Gang” murdered over a hundred people, including Mr. Venkatamuni (since proven a bold-faced lie). These are just a few examples (out of scores) that reveal the true modus operandi of critics and ex-devotees that wholly negates their so-called “credibility” and “integrity”.
Fraudulent Pedophile Allegations Against Sathya Sai Baba:
Anti-Sai Activists wage an unremitting smear campaign against Sathya Sai Baba that accuses him of “serial pedophilia” and the sexual abuse of “boys” and “children”. These comments are fallacious, unsustantiated and wholly untrue. “Pedophilia” is the sexual abuse or exploitation of a boy, girl or child 12/13 years of age or younger (Ref). TO DATE: There are no testimonies or complaints from boys, children or parents of children that support the erroneous claim that Sathya Sai Baba is a pedophile/paedophile who engaged in inappropriate sexual behavior with any child 12/13 years of age or younger.
As a matter of fact, the youngest, non-anonymous testimony came from Jed Geyerhahn, a 16 year-old teenager who claimed he received a non-sexual “oiling”, was not sexually abused and kept going back over and over to see the Indian Guru until he became disenfranchised. All other alleged victims were 18 years of age or older (Reference). This goes to show how those inimical towards Satya Sai Baba resort to cheap propaganda, bold-faced untruths and blatant disinformation because the truth simply does not argue in their favor.
Barry Pittard submitted a vicious and defamatory article on the “free-press-release.com” website and falsely stated: “U.S. State Department Names Sathya Sai Baba Re Pedophile Accusations” (Reference). Needless to say, this comment is wholly untrue and a gutter fabrication. Read the real story behind the US State Department Advisory, how they never said one word about “pedophile accusations” and how they removed all indirect references about Sathya Sai Baba from their official website in July 2007.
On Salon.com there is a comments section entitled “Sai Baba: Pedophile or God incarnate?” in which people posted several comments about Sathya Sai Baba being a “homosexual pedophile”. Neeless to say, Michelle Goldberg purposely suppressed her hidden bias in her Salon.com article entitled “Untouchable?” See For Yourself.
TO DATE: There have been no public testimonies, affidavits, grievances, police complaints, court cases or the like filed against Sathya Sai Baba for alleged acts of sexual impropriety with “kids”, “children” or “boys”. Despite all the allegations of “pedophilia”, not even one critic, skeptic, rationalist, journalist or media has been able to confirm or verify even one single instance of “paedophilia” against Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
Ex-Devotees love to boast about all the negative media against Sathya Sai Baba (which they claimed they accomplished through unremitting “e-bombing” campaigns). Despite all these “notable” media organizations and journalists investigating and reporting the alleged “pedophile” issue for 10+ years, no one can confirm or verify even one case of “pedophilia” against Sai Baba. This proves that the paedophile allegations against Sathya Sai Baba are based on lies, deceit, dishonesty, rumors, gossip, conspiracy theories and hearsay accounts.
Anti-Sai Activists are shameless liars and deceivers who are tying to expose Satya Sai Baba by resorting to calumny, ridicule, libel and deceit. Those opposing Satya Sai Baba lack the most basic integrity and their bittereness and vindictiveness are clearly evident in their error-filled and ever-so-inaccurate writings.
Fraudulent ‘Pedophile Ring’ - ‘Sex Offender’ Allegations:
Robert Priddy and Barry Pittard have created wordpress.com blogs in which they repeat their unsubstantiated allegations like fanatics and extremists. They list their articles under the categories ‘Pedophile Rings’ and ‘Elite Pedophile Rings’.
Conny Larsson alleged (with Barry Pittard supporting the story):
“From day one it organised a paedophile ring trafficking people back and forth i.e. young Indian boys are sent to America and American coloured men from ghettoes in New York etc. are sent to the Indian fellows and mostly to the Ashram...The Ashram itself today, receives from 10,000 to 1,000,000 people. There is continual trafficking in people that arrive by plane. There is a new airport which has been built.”
Other vicious defamers who spread these same ‘pedophile’ allegations are Sanjay Dadlani and Tony O’Clery (who can often be seen calling Sai Baba a “faggot“, “homosexual pedophile”, “rapist“ and other equally disgusting word combinations).
Sanjay Dadlani also lied about Sathya Sai Baba raping a 7 year-old child. This story (about a 7 year old child) has since been shown to be completely fabricated (Reference). Sanjay never cared to investigate this story himself. He simply repeated it, like a trained parrot, and went a step further by shamelessly embellishing and lying about the story. Although there was only one reference to one 7 year-old child, Sanjay decided to turn the child (singular) into “children” (plural). Sanjay accused Sai Baba of being a “sodomizer of young children” (plural), “raping small kids and murdering people” (plural), “rapes boys as young as three” (plural) and that “seven-year-old kids are being admitted to the hospital for anal reconstruction surgery” (plural)! (Refs: 01 - 02 - 03 - 04). All of these allegations are total pathological lies. Sanjay is the only person who has accused Sai Baba of raping children “as young as three” and that “seven-year-old kids are being admitted to the hospital for anal reconstruction surgery”. Not even one other Anti-Sai Activist has made these claims. These lies are unprecedented and trace directly back to the chronic & habitual liar, Sanjay Kishore Dadlani.
To Date: Neither Sathya Sai Baba or the Sai Organization have ever been implicated (directly, indirectly or otherwise) with pedophile rings, child trafficking rings, etc. To Date: Neither Sathya Sai Baba or the Sai Organization have ever been charged with any crime, sexual or otherwise. Period.
Ex-Devotees, critics and skeptics are liars that resort to gutter untruths and vicious smear/hate campaigns (despite their lukewarm lip service to honesty, morality and decency). Critic’s deceptions manifest in many ways. Many of their lies manifest as sycophantic whinges, folksy public posturing and superficial concern and compassion. Thankfully, their plethora of Anti-Sai propaganda and rhetoric is fully documented on the internet and is easily verifiable.
