Spheres Of Talas ::: Patala Chakra Chakrum

Information About The Patala Chakra
In our perception, everything possesses a yin yang of opposites (i.e., Light & Dark, South Pole & North Pole, Spiritual & Material, Superior & Inferior, High & Low, Positive & Negative, Soft & Hard, Heaven & Hell, Hot & Cold, Love & Hate, Feminine & Masculine, Attractive & Repulsive, etc.). A Loka is a luminous, spiritual sphere comparable to Yang. A Tala is a shadow, material sphere comparable to Yin. A Loka and a Tala are two seamless aspects to a specific state of consciousness.
Patala’s corresponding loka is Bhurloka.
Plane Of Patala: Kokola
Below Patala is the Garbha ocean (Garbhodaka) filling half of the Universe on which Garbhodakasayi Vishnu lies on Ananta Shesha and from His navel grows a lotus. In the stem of this lotus are situated all the planetary systems (SB 3.28.25, etc.).
Lower down is Patala, where live Vasuki, the Chief of the snakes, and others named S’ankha, Kulika, S’veta, Dhananjaya, Mahas’ankha, Dhritarastra, S’ankhachuda, Kamvala, As’vatara, and Devopadattaka, all very angry, of wide hoods, and virulently poisonous. Some of these have five heads, some seven hoods, some ten; some hundred, some others have thousand heads, while some others have on their crests exceedingly luminous jewels. By their rays, they dispel the darkness of the nether regions; but they are awfully prone to anger.
