| October 2nd 2005: Andries slur against SSB on a Yahoo Group where he calls SSB a "pathological liar" and linked to a site about the brain chemistry of pathological liars: Slur 1 View Andries controversial "Wikipedia Controversy" page where he engaged in "therapy" and a "joke": Reference. Ultimately, Andries removed the page and stated the reason, in part, was due to "This satirical article has been removed by me because it led to controversy and considerable confusion. It was in the first place a joke. It also helped to show other users how difficult and arbitrary the list of purported cults is. At a certain moment, I really did not know anymore how to proceed with the list of purported cults. I am still thinking about it. It was also therapy: I was in a cult and it was not funny, I still want to understand the experience. Yes, I am bitter about that experience but I am not (yet) bitter about Wikipedia" (Ref). Andries had the following statement on his user-page up to February 3rd 2005: "I have become a complete skeptic due to an unfortunate experience with an Indian guru called Sathya Sai Baba." (Reference). Even as recently as March 4th 2006, Andries was soliciting the pseudo-petition against SSB on the "GuruRatings" Yahoo Group (need to have a Yahoo account to view the post: Ref) which accuses SSB of "child molesation" and "homosexual abuse" without proof . Andries continually and unremittingly (even up to the present day) refers to SSB in a derogatory fashion (which he is perfectly entitled to do). However, Andries' wholly negative and deprecatory views on SSB highlights the fact that he is not able to write about SSB objectively, neutrally or fairly and points to his questionable involvement and behavior on the SSB Wikipedia articles. Coupling this information with Andries former webmaster status (for 3 years) on the largest Anti-Sai Site on the internet, and things appear quite different than what Andries would have others believe. |
